Minister for Health appoints new member to Cancer Australia’s Advisory Council

Cancer Australia welcomes Minister for Health Greg Hunt’s appointment of Dr Benjamin Brady as a member of Cancer Australia’s Advisory Council.

Dr Benjamin Brady is a Medical Oncologist in the Skin and Melanoma Service at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Craft Group Leader in Cancer Services at Cabrini Health.  

Minister for Health Greg Hunt said “Dr Brady is a leader within our world-class cancer care community. His research has a focus on melanoma and he possesses a significant breadth and depth of experience and expertise to support our national cancer control agency.”

Cancer Australia CEO Dr Helen Zorbas said, “Dr Brady brings valued expertise as a clinician, cancer expert and researcher to support Cancer Australia in providing national leadership in cancer control and delivering on our commitment to improve outcomes for Australians affected by cancer. We look forward to Dr Brady’s contribution on the Advisory Council.”

Dr Brady’s appointment as member of Cancer Australia’s Advisory Council is for a three year term from 24 January 2018.
