Cancer Australia’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for the years 2023-2025 promotes our commitment to reconciliation and will contribute to our work in addressing the gap in cancer outcomes experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Cancer Australia’s vision is to recognise and respect the cultures, histories, and dignity of this country’s First Peoples. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are Australia’s First Peoples, who have been connected to the land for thousands of years. We celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander diversity of culture and acknowledge it as the longest continuing culture in the world.
