Cancer Australia would like to congratulate the successful grant applicants of the 2011 round of the Priority-driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme (PdCCRS).
Thirty new cancer research projects will be funded through $9.35 million in grants being delivered by Cancer Australia’s PdCCRS.
The Australian Government, through Cancer Australia, will invest $4.64 million, with funding partners also contributing $4.71 million, to fund the successful grant applications.
The 30 successful applications, selected from a record number received in the 2011 grant round, include projects to be jointly funded withCure Cancer Australia Foundation, Leukaemia Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Cancer Council Australia, Cancer Council NSW andbeyondblue: the national depression initiative.
