Towards understanding the utilisation of telehealth services for cancer-related services consultations in Australia, this report examined Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) data on services for Professional Attendances for selected specialists and consultant physician provider speciality types. This report provides findings on the uptake of telehealth delivery methods compared with face-to-face methods, and trends in the use of telehealth over the 21-month period from January 2020 to September 2021, nationally and for population groups including age, remoteness area, socioeconomic status area and jurisdiction.
