for the 2012 Priority-driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme
Cancer Australia invites consumers interested in assessing cancer research applications submitted to the 2012 Priority-driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme to submit an Expression-of-Interest to Cancer Australia. Expressions-of-interest will be assessed by a panel which will include consumer representation.
Cancer Consumer refers to a person affected by cancer as a patient, survivor, carer or family member.
Cancer Australia encourages applicants from the Aboriginal communities, Torres Strait Islanders and from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse background (CALD) groups.
Previous experience in reviewing grants is not essential because successful consumer applicants will be invited to attend a Consumer Research Training Workshop in August before the Grant Review Committees convene.
