National Testicular Cancer Dataset Specification Pilot Project: Seeking Expressions of Interest (ITA 1314-02)

Release Date

Cancer Australia and Andrology Australia are developing a Testicular Cancer Dataset Specification. The aim of this project is to develop data standards to assist clinical monitoring and reporting of the treatment and care received by males affected by testicular cancer.  It is anticipated that once complete, this dataset specification will become a nationally recommended standard for clinical testicular cancer data collection.

We are currently seeking up to three sites in different states and territories in Australia that are involved in the treatment of newly diagnosed testicular cancer patients to take part in piloting this dataset specification to ensure its adequacy for use in clinical settings. The piloting of this dataset will involve collecting patient data for a 6 month period between June and December 2014. Funding for involvement in the project will be provided.

To take part in the pilot, please download and complete the application form below. Applications should be returned to Simeon.Jones@canceraustralia.gov.au  no later than 5:00pm Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
