The most common symptoms of ovarian cancer are:
- abdominal bloating or increased abdominal size
- abdominal or pelvic pain
- appetite loss, feeling full quickly or indigestion
- needing to urinate more often or urgently
- changes in bowel habits, such as constipation or diarrhoea
- unexplained weight loss or weight gain
- unexplained fatigue
The symptoms of ovarian cancer can be vague and similar to other common conditions. It's important to know your own body and be aware of the symptoms of the disease.
If you’re concerned about a symptom – especially if is unusual for you or if it persists – see your doctor without delay.
If you are concerned about your family history of breast or ovarian cancer, your doctor can assess your risk.
