Online GP Learning
Cancer screeningCancer screening is a online interactive learning module which was developed by National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre* in collaboration with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Cancer Council Australia. Hosted on the RACGP's online learning platform, gplearning, it is an evidence-based educational module designed to support the central role that GPs play in discussing and managing cancer screening, including providing evidence-based information to patients so they can make an informed choice about participation in screening. The module covers screening principles and how they apply to population-based screening for cervical, breast and bowel cancers, and also includes information on surveillance of high-risk patients and counselling patients about appropriate cancer screening.
Completion of the activity is approved for 40 Category 1 points in the RACGP QI & CPD Program.
Managing Breast Symptom
Managing Breast Symptoms is an online interactive learning module which was developed in collaboration with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and is hosted on the RACGP's online learning platform, gplearning It is an educational module designed for GPs, breast physicians and practice nurses, focusing on breast cancer and benign breast problems such as breast cysts, mastalgia, fibroadenomas and nipple discharge.
Completion of the activity is approved for 40 Category 1 points in the RACGP QA & CPD Program.
