Release Date
Next week (15-21 June) is Men’s Health Week, an important opportunity to raise awareness of men’s cancers, encourage men to take action to reduce their risk for cancer and to act on any changes that could be signs of cancer.
One in two men in Australia will develop cancer in their lifetime and men are at higher risk of developing cancer compared with women.
Early detection is vital to improving survival outcomes. It’s important for men not to let fear, embarrassment or uncertainty stand in the way of seeking medical advice.
