National and jurisdictional data on the impact of COVID-19 on medical services and procedures in Australia: Breast, colorectal, lung, prostate and skin cancers

This report provides findings from an analysis of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) data for the months January 2020 to September 2020 to understand where changes in the number of cancer-related services have occurred, and the types of services affected, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For relevant procedure groups, jurisdictional breakdowns of monthly services are provided. These analyses focus on changes in cancer-related diagnostic and treatment procedures for breast, colorectal, lung, prostate and skin cancers.
