These pictures are of a 45 year old Asian lady with a breast size of 14b, who undergoes a right sided immediate breast reconstruction using a TRAM flap taken from the abdomen area. This lady experiences some keloid scarring (these are firm, raised, and reddened scars that are more common in people with darker skin tones). start slideshow

These pictures are of a 59 year old Caucasian lady with a breast size of 20e, who undergoes bilateral immediate breast reconstruction using TRAM flaps from the abdomen area. This lady had been diagnosed with breast cancer in one breast requiring mastectomy and chose to undergo a prophylactic (preventative) mastectomy on the other breast. start slideshow
